Kin Liu
Corporate Law Specialist
Kin is a qualified corporate law solicitor. After successfully completing his training contract with Brabners LLP, he went on to work with international law firm Hill Dickinson LLP and more recently with Manchester-based Freeman Fisher LLP. He specialises in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) as well as business start-ups, company formations and restructuring and investments.
Outside of the legal profession, Kin is a successful restauranteur. In 2016, he established Chamber 36 – a popular restaurant and bar located in the heart of Liverpool city centre. He recently expanded to a second site and is also involved in a new Korean food brand.
Kin is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese and works closely with Kingham & Co Chartered Accountants on business advisory matters for their Chinese clients.
Rory Taylor
Commercial Law & Intellectual Property Specialist
Rory is a qualified commercial law and intellectual property solicitor. After successfully completing his training contract with Brabners LLP, he went on to work with leading intellectual property law firm Shipley IP. He specialises in identifying, protecting, commercialising and defending intellectual property rights, as well as drafting, negotiating and reviewing various types of commercial contracts. Rory is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
Outside of the legal profession, Rory runs an award-winning music festival, events company and artist agency.
He also holds a Professional Membership with the Recording Academy and serves in directorship and board roles across various creative businesses.
